The National Small Business Summit is about connecting every level of business

The Summit promotes the validity and the importance of small business to all business sectors and industries.

As an annual forum of the people who govern, support and work in the small business sector the event aims to identify the most important issues for small business; to promote innovation; to generate ideas; to stimulate growth.

An important element of the Summit is the opportunity for small business leaders and owners to agree upon what is necessary for the continued growth of the sector; what is needed for small business owners to develop and increase our contribution to the economy - and the lifestyle of Australians.

The Summit comprises:

*    Opening Lunch - featuring a Keynote Address from Federal Government leaders

*    Breakfast - with keynote address and panel discussions

*    Seminars - concurrent education sessions created for Government representatives who are charged with the responsibility of supporting small business; major corporations who are targeting business owners; and the business owners themselves.

*    Feedback Forums

*    Networking events

*    Business to Business Expo

The Summit is presented each year by the Council of Small Business of Australia (COSBOA)
